Solomon (c. 990 BCE – 931 BCE) was the fourth monarch of the Kingdom of Israel, succeeded his father David c. 960 CE.^[1] In 960 BCE,^[2] during his reign, he constructed a temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, which stood on top of an Isu vault.^[3]^[4]
