Snorri Sturluson (1179 – 23 September 1241) was an Icelandic politician, poet and historian. Among his works is the Heimskringla, a history of the Norwegian kings.
During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from one of the several book shops in Constantinople.[1]
