A Narrow Escape

A Narrow Escape is a memory in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Description

Ezio Auditore finds his weapons and makes his way along the Masyaf fortress' battlements, eliminating any Byzantine guards who try to confront him. Eventually he finds the pool located behind the fortress and dives into it.

There, he discovers a tunnel beneath and proceeds to explore.

Dialogue

As Ezio flees the tower, Leandros angrily shouts orders from above.

• Leandros: (coughing) Get him, you fools! Kill that bastard!
  Look everywhere, top to bottom! I want him dead!
  Ezio! I'm going to dig your heart out with a shovel and feed it to you!
  Damn this blizzard, he could be anywhere!
  What the hell are you standing around for? Make yourselves useful!

Trivia

• To achieve full synchronization, Ezio must counter kill a Byzantine guard.
• If replaying the memory or accessing it via a new session after recieving the hookblade, the memory will show Ezio pick up his weaponry as usual, but the vambrace containing the second hidden blade will be replaced with a vambrace equipped with a hookblade. However, the cutscene will show the broken blade and it was not usuable during the rest of the memory.
