Arispe was a Templar associate operating in the Caribbean during the early 18th century. During this time, he attempted to control and regulate the rum trade in the region through force and violence. This caught the attention of the Caribbean Assassins, who put out a contract on his life.
At some point between 1716 and 1722, Arispe went to Arroyos, where he rendezvoused with a rum trader in order to try negotiate a new deal on profits. When the trader refused to give Arispe a sixty percent cut of his profits, Arsipe he threatened him. Upon the arrival of Edward Kenway, a pirate intent on fulfilling the contract on Arispe's life, Arispe shot the rum trader dead and fled aboard his ship. Edward chased after him aboard the Jackdaw, before boarding Arispe's s ship and then assassinating him.
