Shahar is the twin brother of Shalim, the son of Moloch, and one of Armand Bouchart's closest men. Shahar is a young nobleman who is identical in appearance and dress to his brother Shalim. When Altaïr first sees Shahar, he believes him to be Shalim, and is thus surprised because of his "unusual" behavior. In contrast to his brother, Shahar is a very calm, well-studied, religious man. He is truly loyal to the Templar idea of a perfect world.
Altaïr did not know about Shahar until the very moment he appeared to combat the Assassin alongside his brother. Both Shalim and Shahar were killed by Altaïr.
