Shah Shujah Durrani, also called Shujah Shah Durrani, was the ruler of Afghanistan from 1803 to 1809 and from 1839 until his death in 1842.[1]

In 1830, after he was deposed, Shah Durrani gave the Koh-i-Noor, a powerful Piece of Eden, to Maharajah Ranjit Singh, who in turn reclaimed the Afghan throne for him.[2]
