Seth, Protector of Ra, usurper and killer of Osiris.

Seth or Set also transliterated Setesh, Sutekh[1], Setekh, or Suty) is a god of the desert, storms, disorder, violence, and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion.

Seth is the brother of Osiris, Isis, and Nephthys. He married Nephthys and fathered the mummification god of the dead, Anubis. Seth killed and mutilated his own brother Osiris. Osiris' wife Isis reassembled Osiris' corpse and resurrected him long enough to conceive his son and heir Horus. Horus sought revenge upon Seth, and the myths describe their conflicts.
