Sebastián de Olmedo was a Spanish chronicler who lived during the Reconquista, serving under Grand Inquisitor Tomás de Torquemada.
In 1492, Sebastián was present in Seville during the intended execution of the Spanish Assassins Aguilar de Nerha, Benedicto, and María. There, he enthused Torquemada as "the hammer of heretics, the light of Spain, the savior of his country, the honor of his order".[1]
Trivia
- Torquemada later quoted Olmedo's veneration when Ezio Auditore attempted to assassinate him.[2]
