The Sapphire Linothorax was a linothorax held in a treasury of the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, Photios, a former mercenary who had become the guard of the treasury in his old age, gave the linothorax to the Spartan misthios and his old pupil and friend Kassandra as a reward for her finding and returning sapphires stolen from the treasury.[1]
