The San Giovanni district was one of five districts of Florence. The Palazzo Auditore was located here.[1]
Database Entry
San Giovanni was named after Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of Florence. It is the oldest area of the city and the centre of administration, encompassing the Palazzo della Signoria. If big churches are your thing, head to Santa Maria del Fiore on the Northern edge. It's the one with the gigantic dome.[1]
Trivia
- Several Cristina Memories are set in this district, making this district one of the few locations to appear in both Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.[2]
