Saint Giles (Latin: Agidius; French: Gilles; German: Gilen/Ilgen; c. 650 – 710), also known as Giles the Hermit, was a Greek saint from Athens.
The Church of Saint-Leu-Saint-Gilles in Paris was originally named and dedicated to Giles. Later on, it came to include Lupus of Sens.[1]
