Behind the scenes

The Russian Flintlock Pistols are based on the Denix-produced replica[2] of the hunting pistols crafted by master Ivan Lyalin in the Tula Arsenal in 1790.[3] The lack of ramrod and darker color of the decorations suggests that the Denix replica was used for reference instead of the actual pistols. The 1790 manufacture of the guns makes them anachronistic for the setting of Assassin's Creed: Rogue.
