Rothenburg was an Assassin informant in Abstergo Industries who sent information to the Assassins about the Templars activities. Rothenburg's identity has to date remained anonymous and Gavin Banks continues to trust the informant, as they had never asked for anything in return and if they had, he would've terminated the operation. Mute for a long time, Rothenburg resumed contact with Griffin in 2016 to inform him of the kidnapping of several teenagers.
