Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style.

Aqueducts were stone structures found in Rome and Constantinople that provided water to the different baths and fountains that distributed water to its citizens. Built during the time of the Roman Republic, the majority of these aqueducts were in states of disrepair under the Borgia's rule over Rome.

During the liberation of Rome, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze restored the aqueducts and cleared Borgia influence around the structures.

Roman aqueducts

Acquedotto Claudia

Acquedotto Claudia is an aqueduct that can be found in Rome in the Antico district without the need to pre-order another version of the game. It has four broken aqueducts sections which can be renovated by Architects like most of the other aqueducts.

Acqua Vergene

The Acqua Vergene is the smallest of the aqueducts, with only one section that can be renovated in Rome. It is located in the Northern side of the Campagna district.

Acqua Marcia

The Acqua Marcia is an aqueduct that can be found in the Campagna district. Between it and the Acqua Antoniniana there are three broken aqueducts that can be renovated.

Acqua Antoniniana

The Acqua Antoniniana was built as a secondary channel from Acqua Marcia. It can be found in the Southern side of the Campagna district where it borders with the Antico district.

Ottoman aqueducts

Valens Aqueduct

The Valens Aqueduct was a Roman aqueduct in Constantinople and major landmark completed in the 4th century CE. It was restored primarily by Sultan Bayezid II and several other Sultans.

Trivia

  • To achieve full synchronization with the Aqueduct memories in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio must not kill more than two of the Aqueduct workers.
  • Even when Ezio has finished renovating the broken aqueducts the map will still show their locations and they will still be referred to as broken aqueducts.
  • The Papal guard that is in charge of the Tivoli Aqueduct is German, but in the German version of Brotherhood, he is Swiss instead, as he speaks German with a Swiss dialect.
