Aqueducts are structures in Rome and Constantinople that provided water to the different baths and fountains that distributed water to its citizens. Built during the time of the Roman Republic, the majority of these aqueducts are found in disrepair under the Borgia's rule over Rome.
The source of one of the aqueducts also housed a treasure that the Templars sought to possess, with workers forced to excavate the area. However, during the Liberation of Rome, Ezio Auditore restores the aqueducts and clears the Templar presence in the area.
Roman aqueducts
Liquid Gold
"Liquid Gold" is a memory in which Ezio Auditore discovers that the Templars are searching for a secret treasure and he must stop them. The Papal guard that is in charge of the excavation of the area also uses his workers to try and kill Ezio, but Ezio uses a crane to destroy the platform that he is standing on.
Ezio will then chase down a Papal guard in an attempt to kill him.
Acquedotto Claudia
Acquedotto Claudia is an aqueduct that can be found in Rome in the Antico district without the need to pre-order another version of the game. It has four broken aqueducts sections which can be renovated by Architects like most of the other aqueducts.
Acqua Vergene

Trivia
- To achieve full synchronization with the Aqueduct memories in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio must not kill more than two of the Aqueduct workers.
- Even when Ezio has finished renovating the broken aqueducts the map will still show their locations and they will still be referred to as broken aqueducts.
- The Papal guard that is in charge of the Tivoli Aqueduct is German, but in the German version of Brotherhood, he is Swiss instead, as he speaks German with a Swiss dialect.
