Aqueducts
Aqueducts is a secret location available in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, only available via pre-ordering the game's Limited Codex Edition or the Collector's Edition.
In this exclusive mission, Ezio discovers that the Templars are searching
for a secret treasure, and Ezio must stop them. The Papal guard that is in charge of the excavation of the area also uses his workers to try and kill Ezio, but Ezio uses a crane to destroy the platform that he is standing on.
In this mission a chase sequence, like the ones in some of the Assassin's Creed II secret locations, will take place, in which Ezio will chase down a Papal guard and try to kill him.
Acquedotto Claudia
Acquedotto Claudia is an aqueduct that can be found in Rome without the need to pre-order another version of the game.
Construction of the Aqueduct was started under the Roman Emperor Caligula in 38AD. He was assassinated however, by Leonius with a knife on the 24th January 41AD, before he could see his project to fruition. The aqueduct was later completed in 52AD under Emperor Claudius. The aquaduct went between being functional to being unused throughout the years that followed. It was restored by Emperor Vespasian in 71AD and Emperor Titus in 81AD.
By the time Ezio arrived in Rome, January 1500AD, it had fallen to disrepair and became nothing more than several ruined structures in the countryside. As part of the Liberation of Rome, Ezio restored this magnificent structure, bringing water back to key areas in the city as a result.
Gameplay
At serveral sections along the broken aqueduct, architects can be found which Ezio can pay to renovate that section. Once the whole aqueduct has been rebuilt it will generate income which can be collected at a bank.
Trivia
- To get 100% synchronization with the Aqueducts mission, the player must not allow Ezio to kill more than two of the Aqueduct workers. A tip to do that is to use fists against the workers: Ezio will knock them out but not kill them.
