The Ritual Scepter was a scepter originating from Nubia. As its name suggests, it's use was largely ritualistic, as it was given to the young Nubians as a testament of their capabilities, having survived the coming-of-age rites.
During the 1st century BCE, the scepter had made its way to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and was recovered by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa.[1]

The model of the Ritual Scepter, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, was recycled as the model of the Ornate Staff, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind.
