The Reef Guards were a pair of greaves that were part of a set of armor. Inspired by and dedicated to the sharks that haunted the Aegean Sea, the metal of these greaves protected the legs of the wearer from the sharp spikes of coral, as well as whatever else lurked in the shallows.
The greaves were made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.[1]
