The Qizilbash was a loose coalition of Shia Turkman militant groups[1] who rebelled against the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.[2] Operating primarily in Azerbaijan, Anatolia, and Kurdistan,[1] the rebels secretly held close ties with the Templar Order.[2]
One among them, the Templar arms dealer Kadir, was tasked with sabotaging the Ottoman military from within by enlisting in their artillery corps.[2]
