Apollo of Salamina

The Apollo of Salamina was a bronze statue of Apollo located in northeastern part of the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.

It was dedicated to the sanctuary to recall the Battle of Salamis that the Athenians won and the Pythia received by general Themistokles. During the Peloponnesian War the statue was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
