Prasinos Outpost was a Roman fort located in the Green Mountains region of Cyrenaica. During the mid-1st century BCE, the fort's overseer was the centurion Brutus Severus.

In 47 BCE General Agrippa ordered Brutus Severus to try and hinder the rebels in the area by crucifying their apprehended leader, Apate. Before they could proceed with the deed, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa saved the woman; she had been a friend of his son Khemu, and they briefly reminisced about him. Apate told Bayek about Brutus Severus, and Bayek promised to bring an end to the Roman. Apate promised him the help of the local freedom fighters, and with their help Bayek was able to infiltrate the camp and kill the centurion.[1]

Trivia

  • Prasinos is the accusative masculine plural of the Latin word prasinus, which means 'leek-green, light green, prasinous'.
