Port of Lechaion

The Port of Lechaion was a port located on the coast of the Korinthian Gulf which served as a port for the polis Korinth. Built during the reign of Periander, the port was connected to Korinth by long walls, and to the Port of Kechries by the Diolkos.

During the Peloponnesian War the port was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra. In addition The Monger, a member of the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos, owned a warehouse within the port.[1]
