Port Royal is a city located at the end of Palisadoes at the mouth of the Kingston Harbour inhabiting southeastern Jamaica. The city was provided with a safe harbor for the pirates that mostly surrounded the taverns in leisure, such as Edward Thatch.

History

In 1721, the pirates Edward Kenway, Mary Read, Anne Bonny, Charles Vane and Jack Rackham were imprisoned in the city. With the help of the Assassin Ah Tabai, Kenway freed Bonny and Read, the latter of which died while being rescued.
