Port Authority was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
The Merchant was a Florentine noble under the influence of Girolamo Savonarola and the Artifact. He withheld food supplies in an attempt to force citizens to follow Savonarola. If they wouldn't accept Savonarola as their new leader, they would soon run out of food.
Dialogue
- Merchant: Secure those crates! We can ill afford to let their contents fall into the wrong hands.

- Merchant: We'll see just how tough the holdouts are when they're forced to go without food. If they want to eat, they'll accept Savonarola as their leader.
