The Pont Royal is a bridge crossing the Seine in Paris.

The Pont Royal is one of the oldest bridges in Paris, and was built in 1632 as a toll bridge to replace a ferry. It was commonly known as the Pont Rouge (not to be confused with the Pont Rouge linking the city's islands). Throughout the centuries, the Pont Royal has had several name changes and has undergone various partial and complete reconstructions due to flooding.
