The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is a hypercarnivorous mammal whose native range extends throughout the Arctic Circle.
During the Seven Years' War, they were hunted by European colonists in North America for their pelts. The Templar in particular encountered them in Fogo and the HMS Sapphire shipwreck.[1]
