Poison is a "weapon" featured in the game Assassin's Creed 2. Bought in vials from doctor and ejected through hollow blades, the poison will cause the infected individual to go into an uncontrollable rage, swinging at nearby individuals randomly. Commoners will attack with their fists while armed individuals (such as guards) will attack with weapons. The effects of the poison only last for approximately one minute, after which the infected individual will collapse and die. Generally, a crowd of nearby people will form around the infected individual but usually maintain a certain distance. Because of this, the infected rarely land hits or score a kill.
