Pietro Bembo (20 May 1470 - January 1547) was an Italian scholar, poet, cardinal and member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins.

Around 1500, Bembo and Baldassare Castiglione were in charge of the Assassin hideout on Tiber Island while Machiavelli was away. Ezio remarked that they were very reliable Assassins and valuable additions to the Brotherhood, because both of them had connections with the Borgia. Bembo soon had to return to Venice, supporting the Assassins' cause there.[1]

Bembo was also a frequent customer of La Rosa della Virtù, a Venetian brothel run by fellow Assassin "Sister" Teodora Contanto, of which he wrote that it was "the church of a new sect of Catholicism".[2]
