The Phrygian Helmet was a type of helmet forged by the Phrygians, an Indo-European people who formed a kingdom in Anatolia.

By the Peloponnesian War, the use of the helmet had spread to Greece, where it was sold by blacksmiths and worn by various members of military or bandits.[1]
