A 5th century BCE mural featuring Patroklos

Patroklos, also spelled Patroclus, was a hero of the Trojan War, as recounted in Homer's Iliad. The city of Opous in Lokris, Greece, was regarded as his home.

Considered a close friend of the hero Achilles, Patroklos was said to have appeared as a ghost to him.[1]
