The Paros Helmet was a type of helmet worn by soldiers from Paros, an island-city-state and the rival of its neighbouring Naxos Island.
In 429 BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra received the helmet after helping her mother Myrrine deal with a Parian scouting party on a Naxian beach.[1]
