Orthstirr was the war hammer of Viking King Halfdan Ragnarsson.
History
In 876, after becoming King of Northumbria and learning of her trusted advisor Faravid's deceit,[1] Halfdan continued to feel unwell and even depressed of those he lost, especially when hearing the news of his brother Ivarr's death. Venturing with his dog Beonton to Picheringa, he misplaced Orthstirr. With the help of ally Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, he regained both his weapon and her support to return to rule Northumbria.[2]
