Onmoraki-Gumi were a faction of Yakuza located in Osaka, Japan. Sometime in 2013, members of the Onmoraki-Gumi took out a cell of Assassins located in the city, which was discovered by the crew of the Assassin vessel Altair II on 4 December. They began investigating, and suspected that the Onmoraki-Gumi were responsible, but that they had been recently destroyed in a gang war, though they were still somehow able to run their front companies. On 12 December, Emmanuel Barraza tracked a cash deposit to the Onmoraki-Gumi's new base, and the Assassins began attempting to uncover the identity of the Onmoraki-Gumi's new leader.
