| This article is about the sky goddess in the Egyptian pantheon. You may be looking for Mut, another goddess in the Egyptian pantheon. |

Nut was the goddess of the sky in Egyptian mythology. She was also the mother of Osiris, Isis and Seth.
A painting of Nut was depicted in a hyena lair in the Sinai. During the late 1st century BCE, the Egyptian scavenger, Si-Mut, visited the hyena lair and documented his encounter with the painting in his papyrus.
