The boat cannon is a new ballistic gameplay sequence appearing in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It is a device (probably built by Leonardo da Vinci) similar to a regular cannon, which projects fire balls in different directions in order to cause wide-ranged damage. The cannon is placed on a small boat so that it can be driven throughout Tiber River among other boats, and can be used to destroy Templar battleships. It appears to be mounted on a widened gondola with stabilizers. It is currently unknown if it can be used more than once in the game.
