The Myrmidon was the regular type of guard found in the simulations of Elysium, the Underworld, and Atlantis. Used by most Isu but mainly by Persephone, Hades, and Poseidon, these guards often bore a sword. They were the most common type of soldier in the Isu garrisons, followed by the Wardens. Like the other types of soldiers used in the simulation, Vanguards are mind-controlled humans, being kept in check with Torches of Hypnos.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered a large number of these enemies during her travels in the simulations.[1]
Trivia
- Their name is a reference to the Myrmidons, soldiers commanded by Achilles, the greatest Myrmidon, in Greek mythology.
