Murin was a dwarven artisan who lived in Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr.

Biography

Murin and other fellow dwarves fled to Grenhellir Shelter when the Muspels invaded. However, he believed that the Muspel invasion was a farce and that they were all being controlled by a superior authority. At one point, he met the Æsir lord Havi, who was on a mission to find his son, Baldr. They discussed the uncut gemstones scattered around the realm, and thus when Havi returned, Murin gave rewards to Havi for collecting them.[1]
