Mundus Subterraneus, quo universae denique naturae divitiae is a scientific textbook written by Athanasius Kircher, founder of Egyptology, and published in 1665.
A copy of the Solaris image from Mundus Subterraneus was in the possession of Governor Peter Beckford of Jamaica. Sometime between 1715 and 1722, the copy was collected by the pirate-turned-Assassin Edward Kenway.
Several copies of the book were located in the Montreal facility of Abstergo Entertainment in 2013.
