The Monument of Hippolytos

The Monument of Hippolytos was a small cenotaph dedicated to Hippolytos, the son of Theseus, located beside the Temple of Themis on the southern slopes of Athens' acropolis.

During the Peloponnesian War, the monument was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
