Mrs. Moffat was a British woman, living and working in London in the mid-nineteenth century.

Biography

Owning a small bakery on Whitechapel's Fleet Street, Mrs. Moffat started noticing some suspicious disappearances at some point, but did not think too much of it. In 1868, she was questioned by Detective Murphy of the Metropolitan Police Service, and told him that she knew nothing of the disappearances.[1]
