Misbah hangin onto a rope.

Misbah (مصباح miṣbāḥ) was a merchant living in Damascus in the 12^th century. In 1190, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad interrogated Misbah to find out about Tamir's location. Altaïr left him hanging on a rope, promising him to aid him in getting down in return for information on Tamir. After Misbah gave some information, however, Altaïr left Misbah hanging, to a fate unknown.

Miṣbāḥ (مصباح) is Arabic for "lamp."
