The Minotaur-Slaying Axe

The Minotaur-Slaying Axe was a type of battleaxe kept in Fort Lato in Pephka, Greece during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, a man named Morys asked the Spartan misthios Kassandra to help him lie to the people of his village. To help with the lie, Morys asked Kassandra get him gear to help him look like he'd faced the mythical Minotaur. This axe was one of the items she was tasked to gather, and it was believed to have been touched twice by the legendary Theseus, the slayer of the Minotaur in Greek mythology.[1]

Description
It's said this axe can slay the Minotaur. But that statement isn't very convincing.

Behind the scenes

The Minotaur-Slaying Axe, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Labrys, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Labrys, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins. Curiously, when the axe is a quest-item, it's called 'Axe-that-Theseus-Touched-Twice', with an icon resembling the Berserk Axe.
