Milton Jones is an employee of Abstergo Industries, and a descendant of the pirate-turned-Assassin Adéwalé through his grandson Eseosa.
Biography[edit | edit source]
On 16 December 2013, nurse Deanna Geary took a sample of his blood at Abstergo's Lineage Discovery and Acquisition facility in Philadelphia, where the company discovered his ancestral ties to Adéwalé. Medical examiner Damian Saravakos sent an email to research executive Mitsuko Nakamura detailing the discovery, saying that while they may not find any new artifacts in Jones' genetic memory, at least Abstergo Entertainment could make a game out of Adéwalé's memories.[1] By 29 September 2017, Milton was still working for Abstergo and was an acquaintance of Geary and Layla Hassan.[2]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
In Assassin's Creed: Initiates, the Surveillance entry "The Look of Love" dated to 16 December 2013 has Deanna tell Milton that he "look[s] like that actor from those kung fu films...with the afro?", with Milton responding that his mother swore he was the man's son. This seemingly implies that Milton is the illegitimate child of African-American martial arts actor Jim Kelly, whose middle name is Milton and who played the titular character in the 1974 film Black Belt Jones.
