Michael Fassbender is a Irish-German actor, and is best known for his roles in Inglourious Basterds, Shame, X-Men: First Class and Prometheus.
In the Assassin's Creed series, Fassbender has been reported to produce, as well as play the leading role in the upcoming Assassin's Creed film. It is unclear whether he is going to portray Desmond Miles or another lead protagonist in the film.
