The Mercenary Boots were a pair of boots worn during the Peloponnesian War, part of an armor set commonly worn by mercenaries.
Due to the prevalence of mercenaries during the war, the Spartan misthios Kassandra commonly found these boots in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
