The Mercenary is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood who wields a short sword.
Trivia
- The Mercenary bears a certain strong resemblance to both Mario Auditore, the uncle of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and Bartolomeo d'Alviano, the Condotierro of Venice. It is highly likely that he was based off of one of the characters, or both.
