Mediterranean Defense was the name given to the apprentice contracts in Constantinople during the Renaissance.[1]
History
During the early 16th century, the Mentor of the Italian Assassins, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, could send his apprentices to Templar-controlled cities. The apprentices gained experience from these missions, and the Assassin Order as a whole gained money and other rewards for the mission as well. Cities could also be liberated from Templar control and subsequently improved using further missions. Each city then added to the daily income, including different bomb ingredients from each city.[1]
The cities that Ezio was able to send his recruits to were:
- Marseille
- Damascus
- Jerusalem
- Madrid
- Lisbon
- Genoa
- Tunis
- Tripoli
- Algiers
- Alexandria
- Bursa
- Athens
- Rhodes
