Medanta was a bandit stronghold in northwestern Melunois, West Francia.

In the late 880s, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir traveled and probed Medanta and found a locked chest within a big red tent. She opened the chest and retrieved the Paladin Pants.^[1]
