Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean and the is the major island that constitues the Republic of Mauritius. Between 1710 and 1810 it was known as Isle de France.
History
During the Seven Years' War, Isle de France was one most important trading port of the Indian Ocean. The Templar Shay Cormac used his fleet to extend the influence of the British Empire on the island.
