Master Templar was a rank achieved by members of the Templar Order, which served as an equivalent to their counterparts in the Assassin Order.
Master Templars in modern times were granted the privilege of accessing the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order, and involving themselves in top secret affairs, as well as joining the Operations division of Abstergo Industries.
